'NOA ' NATURE OBSERVATORY OF AMAZONIA

‘El Arca’ es un sistema de estaciones modulares móviles que se desplazan entre los tramos mas amplios del río Amazonas a manera de observatorios flotantes permitiendo cubrir un espacio territorial mucho mayor Los módulos pueden conectarse entre sí y formar una o varias ‘Estaciones Mayores’.
'The Ark' is a modular floating station system that moves trough the widest sections of the amazon river as floating observatories covering a much broad space of the amazon rainforest.
The moduls can connect themselves to form one or many bigger main stations.
El objetivo es cubrir una gran extensión del Amazonas utilizando su sistema Fluvial lo cual permite una observación ‘in situ’ de la biodiversidad sin alterar al enorme ecosistema. A diferencia de la referencia bíblica, el Arca no lleva animales pero sí, los invita a un paseo.
The main goal is to cover a great extension of the Amazon using it's river system which allows 'in situ 'observation of the biodiversity without affecting the ecosystem.
De esta manera el NOA se convierte en la selva misma y no en un solo hecho arquitectónico, las estaciones flotantes proveen los medios y espacios para la observación , el estudio y el descubrimiento de la increíble naturaleza del el Amazonas.
This way NOA is the rainforest itself and not an isolated building, the floating stations provide visitors and inestigators with the means and spaces for discovering the amazing nature of the Amazon Rainforest.
